Discover Cleer Audio’s New Arc 3 Series Open-Ear Earbuds

Published on:

Cleer Audio is rolling out its new Arc 3 Series, a fresh lineup of open-ear earbuds aimed at three different listening styles: daily music, workouts, and gaming. The collection includes Arc 3, Arc 3 Sport, and Arc 3 Gaming, each tuned for its intended use while sharing a core design that keeps your ears open to the world around you. The timing makes them a practical holiday pickup for anyone who prefers buds that don’t seal the ear canal yet still want capable audio gear.

A Smart Charging Case With a Few Tricks

All three models ship with a distinctive LED Smart Touch Screen case. It adds wireless charging, a built-in mirror, and an interface that lets users switch screen modes or manage playback without pulling out a phone. The case further includes UV-C light sterilization for keeping earbuds clean between uses. Cleer’s focus on design utility gives the Arc 3 Series a small quality-of-life edge, especially for users who treat earbuds as an everyday carry item.

Battery performance varies slightly across the lineup. Arc 3 and Arc 3 Gaming reach up to 50 hours of total use from the buds and case, while Arc 3 Sport tops out at 40 hours. A short 5-minute quick-charge option offers enough power for brief outings.

Open-Ear Comfort and Situational Awareness

The Arc 3 Series uses an over-ear hook design that sits above, not inside, the ear. Cleer keeps the fit lightweight and adjustable with soft materials and a flexible hinge system that can be raised or lowered for better comfort. This design targets listeners who want to stay aware of their surroundings, runners, cyclists, and anyone who prefers hearing the environment without giving up personal audio.

Each earbud weighs under 12 grams, with the full case coming in around 130 grams. The IPX7 rating provides confidence during workouts or rainy commutes.

Audio Hardware and Feature Set

Cleer includes a sizeable 16.2 mm neodymium driver across the lineup. Wireless audio support covers aptX Lossless, aptX Adaptive, LDAC, AAC, SBC, and Snapdragon Sound S5 Gen 2 certification. The headphones support a frequency range of 50 Hz to 40 kHz for listeners who prioritize bandwidth.

Dolby Atmos optimization and Spatial Audio with head tracking appear throughout the series, giving the Arc 3 models more spatial awareness for movies, gaming, and compatible music. Cleer’s AVC system automatically adjusts volume based on ambient noise, which helps when transitioning between quiet and noisy spaces.

Calls are handled through noise-reducing microphones with aptX Voice and wind-reduction tech to help keep speech clear. Bluetooth 5.4 Multipoint support lets users switch between two devices without re-pairing.

Extra Tools Through the Cleer+ App

The Cleer+ companion app adds EQ controls, battery monitoring, and a step counter. Arc 3 Sport takes things a bit further by supporting health-tracking metrics such as blood oxygen and heart rate, making it the most fitness-oriented model in the trio.

Other helpful touches include anti-loss detection, earbuds emit a beep when dropped, and on-device controls through touch inputs, voice commands, and subtle head-gesture recognition using a built-in 6-axis motion sensor.
