Polestar Teams up with GeoGuessr for a Pretty Unique Entertainment Experience

Published on:

Auto brand Polestar recently announced that it’s been working on its own version of GeoGuessr, a geo-location game that lets players guess real-world locations based on visual clues. As such, the Polestar edition of the game lets players explore major European motoring routes via the Polestar 4’s digital rear-view mirror at the top of the screen, essentially showing the world in reverse.

Polestar and GeoGuessr are also launching a competition for users in Europe which coincides with the 2025 GeoGuessr World Championship Finals in Copenhagen, with the grand prize consisting of a trip to Polestar’s HQ in Gothenburg and a full test track day with a professional racing driver. Michael Lohscheller, Polestar CEO comments:

GeoGuessr and Polestar both celebrate exploration. With Polestar 4’s rear-view mirror built directly into the game, we’ve created a playful link between our technology and one of the world’s most loved digital adventures. It’s the perfect entertainment offer when you are charging your Polestar.

The GeoGuessr Polestar edition is now available on mobile, desktop, and in all Polestar cars via the built-in browser.
