TCL’s Latest X11L Series TVs are Official, and Come with SQD-Mini LED Technology

TCL’s been busy lately—following the launch of its new tablets, the brand recently unveiled its flagship X11L TV line at CES 2026, which features “SQD-Mini LED” technology for its displays. TCL says that the new lineup is able to provide users with an “unmatched home theatre experience.”

TCL says that the SQD-Mini LED uses a CSOT WHVA 2.0 Ultra Panel to deliver 100% BT2020 colour accuracy. By combining up to 20,000 dimming zones with a massive 10,000 nits of peak brightness, the X11L supposedly eliminates the traditional trade-off between the deep blacks of OLED and the vibrant brightness of LED.

Available in a handful of different sizes, the X11L is powered by the new TSR AI Processor and a 26-bit backlight controller, and also features audio engineered by Bang & Olufsen and what TCL calls a “first-of-its-kind” expandable wireless audio system. For physical connectivity, you’re also getting four HDMI 2.0 ports. All of this is packed into an rather slim 0.8-inch casing, which makes for a minimalist look overall.

For additional smart features, there’s also Gemini for Google TV which lets users communicate with their TV with a more natural and conversational voice control. The largest models in the X11L lineup are available for pre-order starting today, starting at around $7,000.
