On Death Stranding’s initial release, we here at Eurogamer were quite taken with it. “Hideo Kojima’s first post-Metal Gear game is a messy, indulgent vanity project – but also a true original,” reads Eurogamer’s Death Stranding review, with former editor Oli Welsh slapping it with a Recommended badge. He called it all a “baffling, haunting, grand folly”.

Then we have Indika, which is another favourite among the team. In Indikia, players take control of the titular nun, who is looking to adjust to a monastic life. However, she also has a connection with none other than the devil. Our Matt described Indika as “a dark, surreal, and devilishly playful drama” in Eurogamer’s four star review.

“Bleak realism meets absurdist fairytale in a stylish, surreal, and astonishingly sure-footed – if mechanically unadventurous – exploration of faith, free will, and demonic temptation,” he wrote of Indika.
