All five seasons of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power are set to leave Netflix, bringing an end to the animated series’ run on the platform. Until then, viewers have a limited window to stream the full series before it is removed from the service.
All 5 seasons of She-Ra and the Princesses of Power will leave Netflix in February
Netflix subscribers will soon lose access to She-Ra and the Princesses of Power, as the streaming platform prepares to remove the animated series from its catalog in February 2026. The complete five-season run is scheduled to leave the service worldwide on February 21, according to What’s on Netflix, marking the end of its availability on Netflix.
The removal is notable given that She-Ra and the Princesses of Power was released as a Netflix Original series. First released in November 2018, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power served as a modern reimagining of the 1980s animated series. All 52 episodes will be taken down at once, nearly six years after the show’s final season premiered in May 2020.
Set on the planet Etheria, the series centers on Adora, a soldier raised by the Horde. After discovering a magical sword that transforms her into She-Ra, she leaves the group and joins a rebellion working to free the planet. The story depicts her efforts to bring the Princess Alliance together while navigating the consequences of leaving her former life behind.
The voice cast features Aimee Carrero as Adora, AJ Michalka as Catra, Karen Fukuhara as Glimmer, and Marcus Scribner as Bow. Supporting roles are voiced by Lorraine Toussaint, Reshma Shetty, Sandra Oh, Geena Davis, Genesis Rodriguez, and Lauren Ash, among others.
During its run, She-Ra and the Princesses of Power received strong critical reception. The series currently holds an average 96 percent approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes. Meanwhile, it earned 84 percent audience score on Popcornmeter.
