“The revolution begins tonight!” It’s the very last new trailer of 2025 for one of my most anticipated movies coming out in the first 2 months of 2026! Let’s go! Briarcliff Entertainment has debuted a 30-second trailer edit featuring a New Years Eve countdown timer promoting their epic new sci-fi movie called Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die. It’s dropping into theaters in February 2026 and it looks like a must see for any/every sci-fi geek out there. A man claiming to be from our AI-ravaged future takes the patrons of an iconic Los Angeles diner hostage in search of unlikely recruits in a quest to save the world from technology. Fun critical commentary on Artificial Intelligence, computers, and how dumb we all are, with some wacky clever ideas following this guy from the future attempting to save humanity. Sam Rockwell stars as future man, joined by Michael Peña, Juno Temple, Haley Lu Richardson, Zazie Beetz, Asim Chandhry, and Tom Taylor. This is the first new movie from filmmaker Gore Verbinski since making A Cure for Wellness in 2016. It already premiered at both Fantastic Fest & Beyond Fest to rave reviews. Yep this is going to be a blast! Rockwell showing us how to save ourselves from tech idiots & AI stupidity. I’m all in! See you in 2026.

A “man from the future” (starring Sam Rockwell) appears at a Los Angeles diner with an urgent mission: to recruit the exact mix of disgruntled patrons needed for a one-night, six-block quest to stop a rogue artificial intelligence from destroying the world. Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die is directed by visionary American filmmaker Gore Verbinski, director of many iconic movies including Mousehunt, The Mexican, The Ring, The Weather Man, the original Pirates of the Caribbean Trilogy: The Curse of the Black Pearl & Dead Man’s Chest & At World’s End, Rango, The Lone Ranger, and A Cure for Wellness. The screenplay is written by Matthew Robinson (of Monster Trucks, Dora and the Lost City of Gold, Love and Monsters). Produced by Gore Verbinski, Robert Kulzer, Erwin Stoff, Oly Obst, Denise Chamian. This initially premiered at Fantastic Fest & Beyond Fest 2025 this fall. Briarcliff Ent. will debut Verbinski’s Good Luck, Have Fun, Don’t Die in theaters nationwide starting February 13th, 2026 early next year. Who’s down? Look good?
