Jensen Ackles recently shared a fun BTS moment from Countdown’s shooting, giving a solid glimpse at how happy everyone seemingly is while shooting the show. The series is set to conclude on September 3, 2025. The actors shared their take on the show in the reel.

Jensen Ackles shares Countdown’s BTS reel before Season 1 finale

The Boys star Jensen Ackles shared a fun BTS reel ahead of the season finale from his Instagram account. He captioned the post, “It’s the #Countdown to season one finale. But, man, did we have fun!!! Anyone got a favorite episode so far??? Asking for a friend.”

The clip featured a montage of many of the season’s iconic scenes, intercut with the actors talking about the filming experience. It was quite clear from the testimonies that the cast really enjoyed shooting the show.

The post already started a conversation about a possible second season, and fans also seemed very impressed with the video. “Can’t wait. But I will miss watching you on my screen, Mr. Ackles,” one user wrote on the post, while another said, “Hard to pick one favorite episode…..they all offer so much. Enjoyed watching each and every character. You and the crew (and us fans) deserve Season 2!” answering Ackles.

Countdown is a crime drama series created by Derek Haas for Prime Video. Starring Jensen Ackles, Jessica Camacho, Violett Beane, Elliot Knight, Uli Latukefu, and Eric Dane, the series follows LAPD detective Mark Meachum as he joins a mission to track down a murderer who killed a Department of Homeland Security officer. But things only take a darker turn as he uncovers a huge conspiracy.

The 13-episode first season concludes on September 3, 2025, and there is yet to be news about a renewal.
