Hoda Kotb To Reunite With Jenna Bush Hager for NBC’s New Year Special

Hoda Kotb has returned to Today multiple times after her departure, but has yet to reunite with Jenna Bush Hager for a project. But that is going to change very soon for NBC’s annual New Year’s Eve special on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. The two-hour, primetime special, titled A Toast to 2025! will see Bush Hager and Kotb sharing the screen while looking back at the most inspiring moments from the year.

Hoda Kotb has not appeared alongside Jenna Bush Hager since the time Kotb departed Today, despite appearing on the program numerous times since. Kotb will finally reunite with Jenna Bush Hager for a two-hour, primetime special, titled A Toast to 2025!, which marks one of the final programs on NBC for the year.

According to NBC, the special led by Bush Hager and Kotb will “look back at the most unforgettable, buzziest and inspiring moments of 2025.” There are several celebrity guests participating in this as well.

The NBC News personalities participating in this include Blayne Alexander, Andrea Canning, Dylan Dreyer, Willie Geist, Savannah Guthrie, Lester Holt, Tom Llamas, Josh Mankiewicz, Craig Melvin, Keith Morrison, and Al Roker. NBC Sports & Olympians Maria Taylor, Lindsey Vonn, and Johnny Weir, and Telemundo’s Nicole Suarez are also going to be a part of the lineup (via CBS 19).

Stars from prominent NBC shows will also show up for the event. This includes Matt Iseman and Akbar Gbajabiamil, Howie Mandel, David Alan Grier, Belissa Escobedo, Melissa Roxburgh and Sara Garcia, Josh McKenzie and Patrick Sabongui, Kristin Chenoweth and Jenn Lyon, and Chris Hardwick.

Peacock stars Jabari Banks, Ariana Madix, Amaya Espinal, Tom Daley, Chris Sullivan, Chelsea Frei, and Tiffany Haddish will also make appearances. Ethan Slater, Brian Baumgartner, Jim Gaffigan, Lil Rel Howery, Nate Jackson, Carson Kressley, Loni Love, Chris Mann, Bobby Moynihan, Tom Papa, Rob Riggle, and Wanda Sykes are also slated to appear.

This ensures that this will be one of the biggest NBC events this year to end 2025 in a grand way.
