Following the recent premiere of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch Season 6, fans had only one question in mind- where is Dragon? The beloved Security chief of the reality show had been noticeably absent in the show’s latest installment. Viewers are now pondering the reason why he took a break and if he has left the show for good.

What happened to Dragon and why is he missing from Skinwalker Ranch Season 6?

Before Season 6 hit the screens on June 3, 2025, a Facebook post from a fan page featured a statement, seemingly from Bryant “Dragon” Arnold.

Although the source of the post remains unverified, it became viral for explaining his absence this season. The post reads, “While I wasn’t able to participate in filming this season due to personal matters involving the health and care of my son, I want to assure everyone that I’m still very much a part of the team and fully support the ongoing investigation.”

It further read, “This was a tough decision, but one made out of love and responsibility—family comes first. I’ve been focusing my energy where it’s most needed, and I appreciate all the support and understanding from the fans and my team. I’ll be watching right along with you, and I can’t wait to see what truths come to light this season…” (via The Direct)

Furthermore, Brandon Fugal, the executive producer of The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch and the ranch’s owner, supported Dragon’s statement. In response to a fan inquiring about Dragon’s absence on X, Fugal confirmed that Dragon continues to play an integral part in the show as the security chief. However, he has now devoted his time to his ailing son.

“He’s been doing better and still engaged as Security with the ranch, but also focusing on his son’s health condition in the hospital,” revealed Fugal. As of writing, Dragon has yet to announce when he will make his comeback to The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch.
